According to the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate, as a result of the first day of the summer session of the Holy Synod, Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, rector of the Church of the Holy Martyr Tatiana, was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Education Committee.
In the Education Committee of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Holy Synod’s decision of 15 March 2012 made several personnel changes: Archimandrite Kirill (Hovorun), who previously held the post of first Vice-President, was released from the post, states the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate. On the vacating of the post Archpriest Maxim Kozlov was appointed rector of the church of Holy Martyr Tatiana, Moscow State University, the post previously occupied by Archimandrite Kirill Hovorun.
