Professor Reinhard Kratz, Professor of Theology at the University of Göttingen, is to give the Göttingen Hebrew Bible Lecture, entitled "Rewriting Within and Outside the Hebrew Bible."

The lecture will be held on Wednesday 16 November at Sterling Divinity Quadrangle (SDQ), Latourette Hall, Yale University, from 5–6 pm.

Professor Kratz’s fields of research include Ancient Near Eastern and Israelite Prophecy, the history of literature and theology of the Old Testament, and Judaism in the Persian and Hellenistic periods.
