Universidad Catolica de Cuyo, Argentina, to hold first International Congress on Patristic Studies

The Universidad Catolica de Cuyo, Argentina, will hold its first International Congress on Patristic Studies in San Juan, Argentina, on August 8–10, 2012.
The theme of the congress will be ‘The Identity of Jesus: Unity and Diversity in the Patristic period’.
Papers will cover topics such as: the identity of Jesus in the Gospels, canonical and noncanonical; the identity of Jesus in various Christian traditions; the identity of Jesus celebrated and expressed: art and liturgy; the identity of Jesus in the Christological controversies surrounding the Christological Ecumenical Councils.
