The ISOCM is delighted that Professors Hilkka Seppälä (University of Eastern Finland), and Christian Troelsgaard (University of Copenhagen), distinguished scholars in the field of Orthodox church music, have agreed to be members of the Board of Honour.

Papers dealing with any aspect of Orthodox church music, both monophonic and polyphonic, including history, theory, performance practice, source studies and cultural and theological aspects, are welcome. The language of the journal will be English, but papers in other languages will be considered for publication and published with an English translation. Queries concerning possible contributions should be sent in the first instance to the Secretary of the ISOCM, Maria Takala-Roszczenko at mtakala@isocm.com.
Books and recordings will also be reviewed. Material for review should also be sent to the Secretary of the ISOCM. Submissions for the first issue of the journal should reach the Editorial Secretary by 1st October 2011.
