On November 11, a reception in honour of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia was given at the Patriarchate of Jerusalem on behalf of Patriarchate Theophilos III.
Members of the delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church, bishops of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, representatives of various Christian confessions, ambassadors of different countries and representatives of diplomatic mission attended the reception.
Patriarch Kirill thanked the Primate of the Church of Jerusalem for his brotherly hospitality. He expressed his gratitude to the secular authorities of Israel for their help with the visit. The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church presented His Theophilos III with the certificate for seven bells that will be installed at the belfry of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Jaffa. The bells were cast by the Vera plant in the city of Voronezh at the order of the Moscow Patriarchate Department for External Church Relations. The St Gregory the Theologian Charity Foundation helped with financing.
