Metropolitan Hilarion’s 10 episode documentary ‘Man before God’ to be repeated

On July 7, the Russian TV channel “Kultura” begins the repeat of the 10 episode documentary serial ‘Man before God’, written by Metropolitan Hilarion of Volokolamsk. Its first screening during Easter 2011 was acclaimed by viewers as a great success.
The series represents a guidebook to Orthodoxy. The first film is intended for those who wish or feel the need to drop into a church but know little about what the church of God is, how it is arranged and, most importantly, how to behave in it. The subsequent films are about icons, the sacraments and rites of the Orthodox Church, about death and life after death. The series is shown at 10 am every Saturday.
